FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Terminology Used by ANR

Contingency Search
Recruiter searches for personnel to fill either direct hire or temporary position - the client only pays for the service once the candidate has been selected by the client.

Direct Hire
Our recruiters develop targeted searches that identify candidates not normally found on job boards or resume banks. We believe that our clients are searching for more. We believe it is our job to identify the strongest qualified candidate available.

OFCCP COMPLIANCE
To maintain compliance with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) ANR recruiters will extract the Basic Qualifications from each position. ANR will make sure that the Basic Qualifications used for each position are relevant, non-comparative and objective.

Outplacement
Layoffs can be very traumatic events. Especially if affected employees have years of service to the company. ANR offers outplacement services to clients going through internal restructuring. Outplacement services can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client; this can include training affected employees on how to search and find new employment, dealing with the emotional strain of unemployment, resume writing workshops and hosting job fairs.

Retained Search
ANR provides the client with a dedicated recruiter to focus on a specific opening or openings; a portion of the fee for services is paid in advance to cover recruiter salary and search strategy.

Social Media
ANR assists clients in the use of social media platforms to promote their business. This includes Web site design/re-design and methods of improving business presence using social media tools; blogging, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Temporary/Contract Personnel
ANR's database contains over 100,000 resumes of qualified individuals from an array of disciplines and industries. Temporary personnel are provided on an as needed basis allowing the client to adjust their internal staffing levels based on project requirements.
